I’m Shelbey, the founder of Saye Creative Co.

Before I ever started building marketing strategies, I was working inside the businesses I now help market. I know what it’s like to wear multiple hats and balance the day-to-day while still trying to grow a business. From operations and events to customer experience and social media, that experience completely changed the way I approach marketing.

I started Saye Creative Co. to help businesses create marketing that actually works, not just content that looks good online. I wanted to make marketing feel less overwhelming and more connected to real growth, real people, and real businesses.

I graduated from Lindenwood University with a degree in marketing, where I also played collegiate volleyball. Volleyball taught me a lot about teamwork, communication, discipline, and showing up consistently, all things that still shape the way I work today.

Outside of work, life is usually centered around my husband, John, and our dog, Bagel. We’re big fans of trying local restaurants, supporting small businesses, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the slower moments whenever we can.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with businesses across hospitality, weddings, real estate, restaurants, tourism, and local service industries. I love helping businesses show people who they really are online and creating marketing that feels natural to their brand instead of forced or overly polished.

At the end of the day, I believe good marketing should feel human. It should connect people, tell a story, and help businesses grow in a way that feels authentic to them.
